Seafood Fried Rice Recipe – Easy Sri Lankan Style Prawn and Cuttlefish Fried Rice
Seafood Fried Rice is a delicious and aromatic rice dish made with prawns, cuttlefish, garlic, and light spices. This easy homemade recipe is perfect for seafood lovers and makes a quick, flavorful meal with authentic Sri Lankan taste.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked cold rice
100 g prawns, peeled and cleaned
100 g cuttlefish, sliced
2 tbsp oil
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green chilli, sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce
½ tsp chilli flakes
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
1 tbsp spring onion, chopped (optional)

Method
Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium heat.
Add chopped garlic, onion, and green chilli. Sauté until fragrant and onions become soft.
Add prawns and sliced cuttlefish. Cook for 3–4 minutes until seafood is properly cooked.
Add chilli flakes, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt. Mix well with the seafood.
Add the cooked cold rice to the wok. Mix gently and evenly with the seafood and spices.
Stir fry for a few minutes until the rice is heated through and well combined.
Add chopped spring onion and mix lightly for extra flavor.
Remove from heat and serve hot.
